During Lent we thought about the importance of this special time when we prepare ourselves for Easter.
During Holy Week, the children took part in assemblies and a very special prayer trail that helped them remember the important events of this week.
We started off Hoy Week by celebrating Palm Sunday. We celebrated just like the people of Jerusalem when Jesus arrived. Hosanna!
We reenacted the washing of the disciples feet, ‘serve one another as I have served you’.
We followed the steps Jesus took on Good Friday as we reflected on the stations of the cross.

These children used their palm leaves to make crosses at home!
We demonstrated the act of kindness shown by Jesus to his disciples at The Last Supper by washing their friend’s feet. He did this to show that everyone should show kindness equally, regardless of who they are.
